The most ‘important’ and elevated achievement, in every sense, of this family-owned company, so in tune with Valdobbiadene, combining loyalty, territory, and vocation. The primary vocation of Prosecco is to capture in the glass the dizzying lightness of these unique hills in the world. The second is to make simple, delicate wines that turn ease into an elegant point that is not trivial and can be enjoyed in quantity. In this regard, the Rive falls short, in the sense that there is little of it. However, it’s essential to note that its low production and concentration from the oldest and most suitable single vineyards do not translate in any way into any form of heaviness. Indeed, alongside almost chiaroscuro notes and even hints of orange, the basic sense of grape, of pure freshly picked grape, remains. The poetry of these wines resides in nothing else but in their fineness and weightlessness, with a characteristic personality: in this label, an attempt is made to achieve the impossible and find the perfect balance of this combination.
